First post!

1.  Creating a gmail account was pretty easy, I had done it before and remembered what to do, and the steps were also very easy to follow.  When creating my blog though, I did not realize at first that blogger was connected directly to the gmail I created.  I had  a little trouble setting it up but only because it was giving me a little bit of difficulty when trying to create the blog, once I hooked it to my gmail things went better and I was able to set it up.

2.  I hope to learn from others and learn different points of view on artwork and how people see things relating to the art world.

3.  I don't usually enjoy taking online courses because I like to have face to face interaction and instruction.  I feel things can get lost easily when working on the computer.  But I think if you stay on top of thing's you can easily keep up and on track with the online course.  I am keeping an open mindset about the online class structure.

4.  I think you don't become anything great, overnight.  You have to constantly work hard to achieve your goals.  This applies to me because I do already have a degree, but when I went out into the world after graduation I wasn't finding my dream job, and the job I fell into was very far from what I wanted to be doing.  The decision to come back to school was a difficult one, but overall it would be what I needed to do to reach my goals, and to take them further.  I definitely have a growth mindset, I'm constantly asking questions about things and gaining more knowledge about lots of different things so I can keep growing and be more successful.  I think no matter how many times you get denied or knocked down, you have to keep moving forward.  You can't take one person's opinion of yourself to heart.  Know who you are and stick to your beliefs and build upon them, and learn from your experiences and do better next time.
